A closer look at the lungs
Bronchoscopy and related procedures used to examine the airways, collect samples and guide treatment without a surgical incision.
What to expect.
Bronchoscopy uses a thin flexible camera passed through the nose or mouth to examine the airways when symptoms or scans need further investigation.
It can collect samples, take a biopsy, clear mucus or remove a foreign object. The exact procedure, anaesthesia and duration depend on the clinical need.
Procedures available at Wellmed.
